Deadlifted 235.

New best, it’s my bodyweight + 100 lbs. Also my new gym friend offered me free pasta if I dropped by at his place of employment. Today sucked, and then I went to the gym and now all is right with the world.

Deadlift day, for volume. My hamstrings are tingling.

800s tomorrow at 6:30 am are going to be ~*~brutal~*~. My plans for the week are definitely 20 miles on Saturday, strong run tomorrow, some lifting after my run on Thursday, and enough mileage to hit 50-55. With all the physics work I have due this week, I have to be on my scheduling game. I’m super worried I caught my boyfriend’s sickness; I have chronic sinus infections so this will not be fun if I do. Neither will finals week.. balls.

University opening has been delayed until 10am and plows are still beeping outside my window.

I’m thinking the executive decision is to do my physics problem set until my 10:30 class, then bust out for a long, snowy trail run at noon. I thought my hamstrings would be ribbons today after my bodyweight deadlift yesterday (which was an awesome accomplishment for me, honestly) but they feel pretty good! We’ll see how the extra 6” of ice-coated resistance will fair me.
